Kumiko will be leading an insightful 3 series meditation class.
【About the Workshop】
Classes will be set up as follows;
15 minutes – technique explanation
15 minutes – practice basic asana
5-10 minutes – practice breathing techniques
30-40 minutes – meditation
10 minutes – grounding
5 minutes – Q&A
ISHTA yoga is based on the teachings of the Tantra tradition. Tantra means to liberate and expand the consciousness. It also means “interwoven”. When you find stillness within, it helps people around you to bring back equanimity, which eventually helps to make the world a more peaceful place. Our energies are all connected and interwoven. Our consistent effort to bring back tranquility within will help bring back the peace around us and vice versa.
Classes can be taken together or individually.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Kumiko Mack is the owner of Be Yoga Japan, a yoga studio located in Tokyo’s Minami-azabu district. As the foremost teacher of ISHTA Yoga in Japan, she leads both 200 and 500 hour instructor training courses that are registered with the Yoga Alliance, in addition to giving a wide variety of workshops. A resident of New York since 1987, Kumiko continues to study Tantra under her teacher, Alan Finger, founder of ISHTA Yoga, and was bestowed the title of Yogiraj from Alan in 2011.
