During this time of her life, she felt unsatisfied and couldn’t cherish herself due to the stress from her unhealthy lifestyle. All this changed when she first encountered yoga, which fascinated her with its deep intelligence.
Learning to love and heal her mind and body by accepting many things in her life and learning to enjoy each day as it passes changed the way she viewed yoga and made her want as many people as possible to experience its rich benefits.
When her mother passed away, the rich sounds of crystal bowl healed her sadness and from that experience, Mayumi started learning and performing crystal bowl from Makino Ji Yuki. Performing crystal bowl in private as well as in events and taught her to spare time to confront herself.
From 2013, Mayumi transferred her base to the Shonan region, situated along the coast of Sagami Bay in central Japan.
