Carlos Pomeda, a San Skrit lecturer & yoga instructor

Originally from Madrid, Spain, Carlos Pomeda has 35 years of experience in the study, practice and teaching of the yoga traditions. He received formal, traditional training in yoga during 18 years as a monk of the Sarasvati order, 9 of which he spent in India, in the Siddha Yoga Ashram, studying under the guidance of Swami Muktananda and Gurumayi Chidvilasananda.

As a teacher, Carlos is known for his love of the Indian yoga traditions, his insight, his humour, his deep empathy with his audiences and his ability to convey the deepest scriptural teachings in a way that is clear, meaningful and applicable.

Minako Suzuki, a yoga instructor and English to Japanese interpreterMina was originally drawn to yoga as a way to manage autonomic nervous system imbalances she suffered from. So clear were the benefits she gleaned from yoga that she has become a lifelong practitioner and devoted herself to sharing the practice with others.

She lived near Yokota Air Force Base in Tokyo as a child and she developed a natural English ability by playing with her American friends.

Now, she interprets for English-speaking yoga teachers, translates yoga related materials, and teaches English to children and adults through yoga.
